The worst company ever. I can't imagine how they have ever gotten a five-star review. I can only say that they must pay for positive reviews, or else they would have been out of business long ago. They have the worst customer service. Don't even bother trying to call them on the phone. You will wait 5-10 minutes for someone to pick up and then be transferred again just to be forced to leave a message. They are all about making money the wrong way by using coercion and taking advantage of people.
I will never deal with this company again. They had the Dr office spinning circles on what they wanted sent. My insurance had already approved it with a 4% co pay. They insisted it was 20%. My insurance talked to them right then. I was also told by my insurance that no one contacted them rom this place, I told them I want a detailed list of what they did to come to their price. looking forward to hearing from them. Today during Covid and Campbell county in the red Zone, the guy handed me a pen to sign after he used it, I said I am not using that. No hand sanitizer for me to use and Halloween candy out in a basket. The clerk says it is a patients right to take candy. Not o place I am visiting again
As others have said their customer service is terrible and has always been. Add to that the mess from my February order!
I had ordered replacement parts form my cpap machine. I was sent 6 airpillows and called immediately because I had ordered just one like I had always done in the past. They kept trying to convince me to keep all 6 because Medicare will pay for that many. I said repeatedly I didn't need 6, and I thought it was deceitful and not fair to Medicare to keep them all. Patient Aids finally agree to send me a shipping label to return the 5 extra airpillows to them which I did the next day.
I kept checking with Medicare to see when the claim would go through because I wasn't sure I trusted Patient Aids. It finally showed up in late April and sure enough there were 6 airpillows on the bill and not the one. (These pillows are $49 so we're talking just under $250 that Medicare was charged for items I don't have.) I spent several hours talking with Medicare who said I could either file a fraud claim then or contact Patient Aids to get the issue resolved. I decided to give Patient Aids a chance to resolve this.
I called them the same day and told my story to two different peopl. They transferred me to a third who was in a meeting so I got her voice mail. Once again I told my story even that I had been in contact with Medicare. You would have thought that would have gotten her attention. But no.....and now it is more than a month later.
Yesterday I called Medicare again and after an hour plus of talking with them, they will now handle this with their fraud department.
Sorry--Patient Aids I tried to give you every chance.
My name is Donna Fay Wright; on Monday night April 13th; I placed an automated order for some new cpap supplies; I was told they would be delivered here to my house in 7-10 business days; as of today date May 6th; I still not have got them delivered by FED EX. I place a call to the office in Wilder, Ky just a few minutes ago; and got the run around again. I am not leaving the information that the recorded message told me to; What Good would it do for me to do that. This company has gone to the dogs so to speak. I have been told 2 different times by the gals that work in the Campbellsville, Ky office; that my cpap supplies are boxed up just setting on someone's desk WAITING FOR THE FED EX man to come in and pick it up. What in the heck is going on; If I hadn't needed the new supplies; I wouldn't have ordered them in the 1st place.
I have been a customer with Patient Aids for a number of years. However, on my most recent contact with them has been a disaster. I have been place in voice mail numerous times. I tried talking to a supervisor or get a return phone call to no avail. I have waited long enough for a phone call back for three days. Since they have sold out their customer service is extremely poor. I would not recommend Pt Aids to any new customers. Very disappointed.
