I have been a pet parent at Loving Care Animal Hospital since 2003 when I moved to Florida. Dr Ryan was my first vet in Florida and I have been with LCAH for 20 years. Dr Steinbrecher treated many of my four legged family members and has been EXCELLENT, honest and professional.
As with all businesses, including my own, the challenges of Covid and the storms in our area have taken a tremendous toll on all of us. The staff at LCAH has hung in and has been consistent with communication and care.
I miss Jody, however Zsuzsa, Joe, Candy and Cherie are hanging in there and are all wonderful. I am especially impressed with Dr Karen Prine who is now practicing at the hospital. Dr Prine is refreshing and offers an approach that I am familiar with and that appeals to me and my furry family.
Kudos to the group at LCAH and know that I for one here in Englewood love you guys and have your back!!

We were there for a simple diagnosis for our dog. While there, one cat was surrendered. Then there was shouting for the Dr. who'd just performed surgery but was seeing other clients. Lost the client's dog after the surgery. No one attending to the post surgery. The cat, who was to be put down, but placed near the post-operative dog, saw the commotion and the dead dog. Animals have feelings too. How must she have felt? The dog's owner obviously had no idea that her dog would die after the surgery and was devastated. Overbooked, too busy to attend to one's precious baby.

This place is very dirty. They staff is very unfriendly.
They take your pet into the back room to take blood work and won't let you to back with them, When I asked if I could go back with my dog they were very rude about it.
A friend of mine just recently had a horrible experience with them were they killed his dog. DO NOT GO HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Absolutely, they usually call more times than they say they promised. I was fully informed the whole time.
