My dog had something that looked like a blister that developed on his foot, so I took him to the Vet in Gridley and the doctor drugged my dog and began surgery, and claimed that a "fox-tail" was the reason behind all the swelling. The doctor gave us some medication to ease the pain and sent us home, but one weeks later the "blister's" appearance didn't look any better and on top of that it began to appear on his other foot. We scheduled another appointment with the same Vet and he took the same procedures as before and he told us he found nothing in his foot, but we were so astonished that if there was anything; he should've taken it all out the first! In total, he charged us about $100 for each appointment, plus the cost of medicine. We tried talking to him about how our problem was not fixed and he told us that he doesn't know anything and that he went in to the surgery blindly, after we even told him everything our dog has been doing for the past week. A month later, we took our dog to the Vet in Chico by Costco and they said our dog actually has had an allergic reaction and gave us some medication and now he's doing absolutely fine. The Vet in Chico noticed that there was never a sign of fox-tail in his foot.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. I have complete confidence in their ability to successfully diagnose and treat my pet with any ailment they might have. They've handled everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care.
