They are out of their minds with their prices. I had an appointment for my dogs ears and they charges 85.00 for an emergency appointment. I also paid 55.00 for a vet tech to look at the slide from the ears. Never again!!! 280.00 for an ear ck.

Prices were ridiculous. And a 30.00 fee to make appointment.,we walked because they gave us a $550 estimate to give shots to our dog. And they kept our 30.00 fee for leaving without seeing the vet.

I would never recommend Colorado River Animal Medical Center. They are over booked and understaffed. As a result they rush thru procedures and fail to give adequate follow up care and don't properly monitor the animals that had procedures when they are coming out of the surgery or procedure. The result - dog died - the records show they never even checked the dogs blood pressure while the dog was an inpatient. Released a very sick do - which died the very next day. I felt like they just didn't want the dog dieing in their clinic so off they sent us. Did not answer any questions we had - and never explained what actually happened or caused the death.

Everything I told them seemed to go in one ear and out the other. the technichians didnt document anything i said which caused them to give my dog the wrong medication nearly killing her under anesthesia. Having a high level of customer service doesn't appear to be their top priority. Nobody ever called to check up on my dog after she came home nor did they apologize for their mistake instead they were extremely argumentative and became angry very easily. All 3 of theses vets need to go back to vet school, they dont have a clue!
