Unethical billing practices, ruses to create customer invoices.

The vets commit malpractice, then place the onus on the customer to seek specialized care to resolve their errors. The time the vet spent correcting her mistakes was quoted as "billable."

Find a more reputable practice, that does not use coercion to create invoices for their clients.

This has been the second time that Hunter Mill Animal Hospital provided the service and will remain the primary care facility. I appreciated the honesty and clarity in Cinnamon's physical condition ... she exceeded the normal life expected life span. Thanks to all who helped during this required veterinary service.

If I were in need of a kennel for my pet I would definitely take them here. The kennels and holding areas in their office were some of the cleanest I have ever seen. They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking.

Yes, their compassion was greatly appreciated.
Was there a designated area for your dog to go to the bathroom?
No, but there was a little grass outside the office so it was fine

No, he/she seemed very calm and not in a rush to see the next pet

I have complete confidence in their ability to successfully diagnose and treat my pet with any ailment they might have. They've handled everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care. I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and everything. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded.

While the vets there are amazing, the "support staff"/"adminstrative staff" is absolutely HORRIBLE! They are disorganized, NEVER return phone calls and are sending a bill that I've been trying to take care of for over 6 months to collections. SIX MONTHS!! I've called over 15 times in these 6 months and NEVER gotten a call back! NEVER! I will NOT be taking my dog back there again. It's sad that my dog will not get the wonderful care from the vets and that the vets will be losing my 2 dogs as their customers because Mr. James O'Neil doesn't know how to return a phone call!
