Would like to thank Dr. Hooks and staff for saving the life of our puppy "Dolly". The service and communication was/is outstanding. They worked long hours to care for her and make it possible for her to have a fighting chance. Twice I thought she might not make it; now she is home being a typical puppy. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. This is not a problem, since the vet's wife runs the front desk. They have a huge selection of medication available for pets and fully explain the benefits and possible side effects that each one presents. They also provide flea protection by the month, if you prefer to buy it that way or combined with heartworm medication. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. I'm sure it's no surprise that my pet hates going to the vet, but what a relief to find an animal hospital that is so dedicated to making your pets experience as pleasant as possible. They never separate you from your pet unless it's required and I was able to stay within "save me" range the whole time. No taking pets behind closed doors like other places I've been too.
