I have been a client of this vet for 12 years and was always pleased with their service, including the care of my chronically ill cat and his subsequent euthanasia. However, when it came time for my elderly dog to need the same attention after a rapid decline in her health, I not only waited 3 hrs for a return call but was then told that they were "absolutely booked solid for days" and that I would have to call a mobile vet (starting fees of $300 + emergency and new pt fees) because my dog was large. This was on a Thursday afternoon and they refused to make me an appt for even the next week thru Tuesday because they were so booked. She said they had one appt on Saturday for emergencies only. I begged for that appt but was declined. I was already upset over the impending loss of my pet and to be left helplessly watching her struggle was heartbreaking. Despite me pleas and insistence that I would take any available time, I was told to call back in the morning with the time that I would be available, which I didn't understand due to my repeated statement of my open availability and request for any possible appt time. My dog subsequently died a horrible death in front of myself and my children early the next morning before they opened. After 12 years as a client (my dogs entire life) I am angry over their refusal to help in her final hours. I have recommended them many times over the years but feel that I will not only advise people against them now, but will seek another vet for my pets in the future.

Not at all, they are always so organized here with making sure the vet is never too overwhelmed to ensure the best service

Absolutely! I was never asked to leave and stayed with my pet the whole time

Don't bother this vet if you don't have any records to transfer from another vet. I was told that unless I provided his old records they wouldn't see me. This was a rescue dog - originally from NYC - and I took him to clinics and such for shots/HW exam, etc. He's been healthy all this time and no need to see a vet. When I told the receptionist he needed examined for heart problems - she refused to even discuss "breaking the rules" with vet, so I found another more caring vet elsewhere. Sorry I am not rich enough to line a vet's pockets with unnecessary "exams".
