I was traveling from Md. and my dog had seriously injured her hind leg. I was upset and concerned she may need surgery. I found this vet totally by luck! Dr. Ryan personally called me and fit us into his busy schedule. When we arrived we were totally impressed by all they offer re: services, the building/office appearance, and the time spent with us. The staff knew why we were there and Dr. Ryan reviewed my dogs X-rays and reports. When Dr. Ryan came into our exam room he was very personable, polite, and very concerned for my dog and me. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. Unlike other veterinarians I've been to he did not appear overwhelmed by too many pets at one time. They are extremely organized and made sure the vet had plenty of time to see my dog for as long as necessary. Dr. Ryan and staff were very nice and helpful; I have already told my loved ones that they should start coming here. I felt very comfortable with his explanations and confidence in his ability to successfully diagnose and treat my pet. He took time to show examples of dogs bones and knee functions, and did not want me to leave with unanswered questions. Dr. Ryan's practice handles everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care. Dr. Ryan stayed with us until all of my concerns were addressed and he also took the time to thoroughly explain everything. Dr. Ryan did not want to hurry into surgery but give my dog the opportunity to heal on her own since she was not experiencing pain. THANK YOU DR. RYAN AND STAFF!
