Mickey had to have major surgery on his back leg. The surgery was preformed by Dr. Tomas Infernuso at Shirley Veterinary Hospital. Thanks to Dr. Infernuso's determination, the help of Dr Archer, and the wonderful staff, Mickey is now doing well. We were so impressed with the care Mickey received during his hospital stay, along with the aftercare. We have 3 dogs and would'nt think of going anywhere else. Our big, big thanks to a wonderful Surgeon Dr. Infernuso, Dr. Archer a fabulous Doctor, and the great staff that never gave up on Mickey. We could'nt be happier, and Mickey sends lots of Love and Licks!!

Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier!
Was this veterinarian able to perform all basic as well as complicated procedures?
Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care

I brought my kitten in with a bad abcess on his neck. He had his surgery and came back twice for follow ups- bandages off then tube removal. I have been to other vet offices- and this experience was BY FAR the most pleasant I have had with any vet hosp. All the staff I came in contact with were kind and answered all questions completely. I was treated as if my cat was the only patient :) I will highly recommend this clinic to all my friends!

I have been to other veterinary offices in the area and none are better than Shirley Veterinary Hospital. I will never bring my pets anywhere else. They always make sure every single question I have is answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. It is clear that they truly love working with animals. They are so warm, knowledgeable and professional, and make the whole experience that much better.

If you really love your pet go elsewhere. This hospital is like a cash cow. Very overpriced and my pet was in there for a few days and came out just as it went in sick No difference.The concern is money not the welfare of the pet. Fees are insane , Supplies to purchase are 5 times as much as other places. My pet was declining after leaving here. I called and my pet was in bad shape. Pet was kept on minimal treatment and was told it was not going to make it. After spending 1500.00 I was taken for a ride. Went to another vet and immediately
was told to Quadrupal the doses.. My pet after 1 day was up and kicking.It is now under a new vets care and his health is improving rather quickly.

So shirley vet is just ripping people off and was basically keeping my pet sick to bilk me of money. If you run out of money then the vet could careless and keeps your pet sick . If I would have stayed here I would have lost my pet. Run far far away.. I was not there to fund the vets retirement.......There is no care here if your wallet is empty then you will not get the care you need. My pet is the world to me and I was devastated at the thought of it passing away.
I had to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. so if you love your pet do not go to shirley vet.

I've rescued and fostered about 75 dogs from shelters over the past 10 years and I've taken all of them to Dr. Archer. It can be extremely challenging to diagnose a dog with no medical history and Dr. Archer always comes through. I feel that accurately diagnosing problems and keeping my dogs healthy is just as important to him as it is to me, and its a rare and special gift for a veterinarian to have this level of dedication and commitment. When I recently thought about moving, I started making a mental list of what I would be giving up. Dr. Archer is at the top of this list. He always takes the time to explain and educate me about my dog's medical issues. I feel that his intelligence, compassion and commitment has definitely helped me save the lives of several dogs over the years that may not have made it if I had taken them to a different veterinarian.
