This was the absolute worst vet experience I have ever had! I had made an appointment and came in fifteen minutes before I was scheduled to get everything filled out on time so I didn't have to create a backup in their day. I then sat there for forty five minutes while I saw two other pet owners get called back before I did and their appointments wee scheduled for a time later than my own. When I was finally called back, the vet asked me what I was there for and I told her to just get a rabies vaccination. She then tried to get me to get a couple other things that I didn't want to pay for. I wasn't expecting to pay a hundred dollars that day, I was just expecting to pay for the rabies and the mandatory examination prior to the vaccination. The examination that they HAVE to do cost $24 and they didn't do a single thing that was helpful at all. The vet tried to listen to my dogs heart beat and she didn't even get a number because she gave up too quickly. A vet, of all people should know how to make a dog feel more comfortable in a stressed situation especially to take a simple test. Instead of letting my dog sniff her to get to be more comfortable with her, or sniff the stethoscope she just lunged at my dog and scared her to death. Then I stepped in to hold her and then the vet said if she was going to bite someone she needed to be muzzled. SHE DIDNT EVEN SHOW ANY SIGNS OF TRYING TO BITE ANYONE, NOR HAS SHE EVER BITTEN ANYONE BEFORE. She didn't growl, she didn't snap, nothing. So I finally gave up and said do whatever you want because Im tired of arguing with you over this and of course my dog hated it and the muzzle made it worse because she had never been put in one before. The vet was unnecessarily rough with my dog and I feel as though she doesn't even like animals. Why she is a vet I have no idea. She was rough giving the shots and told us to have a nice day. She didn't tell us anything about possible side effects or if I needed to watch out about anything. SHE SAID NOTHING. I don't know anything about the shots or side effects from them, that is her job to let me know of anything and she didn't do it. I had to ask the receptionist. I then sat in the waiting room for another 15 minutes waiting to pay $102 for an "examination", rabies shot, and distemper shot. The only person who seems to care about myself or my pet was the assistant to the vet. Everyone else was rude and I left feeling disrespected. I will never go back to this place and I will tell all others to never go here either. It was horrible, over priced, and they didn't even do the things they were supposed to. Oh, and they did everything opposite of hat their mission statement said on the plaque in the waiting room. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!
