I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. The staff here goes above and beyond to make my pet and me feel at home. They make sure I receive all company rebates when purchasing products. When I've called with a question, they always returned my calls promptly. The remodel is fantastic!

Dr. Kevin Stoothoff has taken care of my pets for the last 18 years. His partner Dr. Lisa Dowd has shared my pet care for the last 6 years. Between the two of them, my pets receive the very best health care. They don't send pets to an emergency clinic if it's after hours (unfortunately, I've had to take my dog in for ER service at 11 pm!)

They are SO compassionate and dedicated to animal care that both Vets and the entire staff DONATE their time to Pets of the Homeless in Ocala. They raise money by selling cards, watches, homemade jelly in the office to raise money for food and medicine for the Pets of the Homeless.

I honestly don't know what I would do without South Ocala Animal Clinic!

Please do not take your pets here if you care for them. Both vets are unconcerned and do not know how to run a business that is oriented towards the PUBLIC. They subjected my pet to unnecessary tests and prevention methods to the detriment of my pets health, she ended up in emergency care due to a near fatal reaction, which is documented. Perhaps most disturbing was the callous attitudes towards my pets’s well being and the lack of concern when it was most needed. Although a business, a certain amount of concern for living creatures and not just the almighty dollar is necessary in this line of work.

This veterinarian is so unfriendly to both me and my pet! I was almost offended at how cold and distant they were. I sent my dog here to be boarded for a weekend and he came home with blood and cuts around his neck and hair missing all over his back. I was given medication that wouldn't work and dr. Kevin admitted that he knew it wouldn't work. He just wanted money. The overweight assistant Christine was extremely rude and disgusting. Definitely does not care about the animals. Very abusive. The staff stands in the back and smokes around the animals all day. Please do not bring your pets to these people. It's so sad to see how they are treated.
