I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time.

Ruth and Jon are new owners and i think the overall atmosphere was very professional, i talked to them and was very impressed with their professionalism. no red flags for me. i was acutally looking for that black salve stuff that the previous owners had told me about and luckily i guess they are not carrying it. i really like both owners and plan to send my patients/clients there to try the biomat for lots of healthrelated issues. welcome Ruth and Jon....

5 years ago, I came into your store and talked to you about some warts that were on my face. You told me that you had a product called Black Salve, it is all natural and that it would for sure take care of the warts on my face. I had already been trying for over a year to get rid of them in other ways (surgically cut off, professionally burned off and over the counter salicylic acid) and thought, I will do anything to get rid of these for good. So I purchased your Ancient Indian Remedy Black Salve that day, it wasn’t that expensive, about $30 and thought finally I found something. I went home that night and put the product on my face exactly what you told me to do and the instructions that you gave to me. It said to leave it on for 12 hours, and from the second I put it on my face, it was excruciating pain, I could not fall asleep pretty much the whole night. When I woke up in the morning, after the full 12 hours, I took the bandage off and found what you had told me it would look like. It was still very painful and just kept looking worse each hour that went by, but I thought, this is what it is supposed to look like and feel like, so I can manage the pain. After a couple of days of this, and it looking worse and worse, I thought that I would go and show you since you would know what it was supposed to be doing. When I got there to show you, I was a little skeptical, thinking that this was way worse than what it was supposed to be, but you reassured me after looking at my face that it was completely normal and it still shouldn’t leave a scar as long as I did exactly what the instructions had said. So I went home feeling much better and thinking I am for sure going to do exactly what it says so that I don’t have any scars on my face.
After a few months of the healing, my own doctor came up to me to ask what I did to my face. I was a little embarrassed because most doctors don’t really like the natural way of healing yourself, but I told her anyway. She was outraged, she said if she had told someone to do that to there face, she would have a lawsuit on her hands. I thought well you did tell me that you could not give medical advice, so I thought, what can I do. Then my doctor told me that since my scars had turned into Keloid Scars, she could put cortisone shots into them to shrink them, lighten them and make them less painful. Each month I would go in and get another shot, and each month I would pay more money, it did help the way it felt, but I am still left with these scars on my face, that I have to live with the rest of my life.
I visited a plastic surgeon. He gave me another cortisone shot and said that I will need scar revision and Z-plasty, which will still be scars on my face, but they will be the best that they can look. It will cost $2500 for all of this to be done along with all the other expenses I have already had. He told me that your store should be shut down, he could not believe that you were getting away with doing this to someone and that it might happen again. He told me to get a hold of the Better Business Bureau, Oregon Public Health Division and the Food and Drug Administration and let them know what has happened.

I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have.
