Horrible experience. The person doing the braiding was rude, would not even look at me when speaking. She didn't use any type of conditioner, gel or lot in of any kind while braiding. I never experienced that anywhere. She also did not know how to come through the ends of African hair. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The salon need to be vigilant about security since it's not in a very safe neighborhood. They should keep the doors locked to keep customers and themselves safe. The salon need sprucing up and has for a very long time. The braiders need to do research about keeping hair healthy. They braid and twist very well but they don't use the best products and braid too tight as most African braider tend to do.

I didn't feel completely safe when I arrived for my appointment because the building wasn't in a very safe neighborhood. They should maybe consider moving somewhere else if they want clients to return. I was a little grossed out by their breath here. It wasn't the worst breath I've ever smelled, but It didn't smell too fresh either. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most.
