I took my 8yr old and 2 year old there , it was not horrible but I don't think they know how to deal well with small children which is why I went there. My son has had only 1 other professional haircut this was his second, yes he was uncoporative however the 1st stylist walked away mid haircut without saying anything and another one walked up to finish and was not very friendly. My son and my self were covered in hair he tore his cape off ( his own fault ) but after being asked to hold him while they cut after there was hair all over me I was then offered a cape. Plus before the first one walked away my son literally had chunks of hair in his mouth and I had to tell her to stop and let me clean him off a bit I mean geesh I don't think any one would want to get there hair cut if they had about a teaspoon of hair in there mouth. Hopefully I can find somewhere else better.

This place is hit or miss for me. One time I'll go and the cut is fantastic, other times I wonder what I just paid $20 for. It's not a cheap place, so I have no idea what the other review is talking about. If it takes 5 minutes to cut my child's hair, I think $15-$20 is a little excessive. Also, their attitudes are pretty bad. I don't think anyone has ever been over-friendly or treated my son really well. In fact, for my son's first haircut, she kept telling me I was neglecting him b/c he kept putting a toy in his mouth...excuse me? He's 1--he puts everything in his mouth...and you're a hairdresser, not a child development specialist. Lastly...the place is always dirty...hair stuck to everywhere, layer of grime in the toys in the play area...totally gross. I wish there were a better place in town. I'd pay $20 for cleaner place and nicer staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. The woman who cut my 5 year old sons hair was horrible. He started crying while she was using clippers, saying it was hurting. Instead of stopping or doing it more gently, she repeatedly told HIM she wasn't hurting him. Quoted word for word, "I'm not hurting you, my love. I'm not paid to hurt you, I'm paid to cut your hair, and that's what I'm doing." I had to stop her so I could ask my son what specifically was hurting, and she blew everything off as if saying he wasn't in pain was going to somehow make the pain stop. Not only that, but the hair cut was a wreck, and I ended up having to fix it myself. The women who work here have no expertise in dealing with kids. Most have no experience with kids at all. They slap "4 Kids" at the end of it, and throw in some video games/movies and think that can somehow disguise the fact they have no idea how to treat a child. Bad haircut, BAD hairstylists.
