NOT HAPPY, WOULDN'T RECOMMEND~I saw some one with acrylic nails so I asked where she got them done at. She told me Hi Tek nails, but she really didn't seem to enthusiastic to recommend them, now I know why. I walked past the other two places in the mall and they had lines. But Hi tek didn't have a line (now I know why.) so I went there. I took my baby with me because they don't take infants at the play land area (Which I would recommend.) I finally got her asleep and took her in. One of the girls offered to hold her so I could get my nails done, I very carefully handed her over so she could hold her and the first thing she did was try to hand her to the 8-10 year old kid that was there and woke up my baby. Grr. They kept passing my baby around and one of the ladies actually left the store with her. REALLY!! I couldn't believe it. But the girl that had her in the first place ran and got her before I said any thing. As for the nail job the girl left burrs on my nails and the glue and the fill stuff on my fingers, I am still picking it off. Before I even left the store two of my nails got muffed, but she didn't fix them. There are bubbles in the fill and one nail is crooked. She was also very rough with my fingers, twisting very hard on the joints. If I had arthritis I would be in a lot of pain, but it still hurt. She asked me what shape and I had know idea of what she meant so I asked if she had any examples or pictures and I just got a look like I was an idiot. Since it was my first time I thought they would have been more helpful. Then in the middle of getting my nails done she asked if I want to pay now. She wouldn't explain why I was paying early, I found out later that it was because my nails would be wet. I asked how much and she told me $30, even though the sign in front said $25. I thought there might be tax, but I didn't think I would be getting ripped off. I would never recommend them to any one ever. If you just want a fast job that is bad, then that is the place to go.
