I was disappointed in this place. My mother was admitted there for "rehab" after breaking her femur- she was transferred there from HealthSouth- because insurance reasons and she needed more help, Katrina the office Manager was extremely nice. However, the aids and nurses need some manners in being kind to the patients. they placed my mother in a room that had a woman in there and this patient did not share the TV, nor the air conditioning, I had to actually ask her to turn the TV down. She watched what she wanted and that was it. Mother was left in bed all day and only out to go to the bathroom - maybe some rehab but that's it, she ended up getting pneumonia and had to be shipped back to Ruby for a week. This could have been prevented had the aids gotten her out of bed. The medications were not correct and I went over them and they finally said they got it in their heads, but they didn't. Poor patient care all the way around, I was so scared to leave my mom there. Directly across the hall was this man with his cholestomy and wouldn't have shut the door or pulled the curtain when changing ? "NO" he stunk to high heaven and mother had to smell this for hrs. The lady in with her messed herself and used pullups and knowing that she could get out of bed really was disgusting. Food - was absolutely terrible. Not only was it cold but looked like it was made days before; it was just terrible. I worked for 8 years in two nursing home and never ever have I witnessed anything like Madison. Stinks to high heaven, the workers are rude and not good with the patients, and the nurses close a blind eye to things. Good thing my sister went to help my mother everyday or she would have never had any attention. She was discharged back to Ruby Hospital because she laid there in that bed and wasn't out of bed like she should have been and got pneumonia. How can employees live with themselves knowing they did this to someone. Employees don't care, they are there for one reason and one reason only - "a pay check". I worried myself sick having to leave her there and knowing full well she was never going to stay in that facility ever again. The employees and the Office manager should be "fired" for over looking things. When someone as to ask why it stinks so bad in their and the workers state "it is a nursing facility", that isn't good enough. SO BEWARE ANYONE SENDING PATIENTS HERE IT ISNT A NICE PLACE.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
