This is a nursing home where families take their parents to die alone and forgotten. Very few receive frequent visitors. There are very few activities scheduled except for daily bingo games before lunch. Most of the residents spend most of the time in bed because it's easier for the understaffed CNAs. Others just sit or roll around the hall in wheel chairs. This facility tries hard to fill all 29 of its beds to make sure income is the best it can be, even if that means accepting residents who are suffering from dementia and other psych issues and should be housed in a secure facility. English is a second language for most employees and its difficult to get them to understand your directions and needs. Residents get bathed twice a week whether they need it or not. Staff is not attentive to changing diapers in a timely fashion, Biggest problem at Stanley is that many residents need much more attention to their needs and there is simply not enough on-duty CNAs and some CNAs are just simply lazy. No RNs except the Director of Nursing usually. All shifts are supervised by LVNs.

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on.

They're under staffed, there is no RN on site 24hrs. The entire facility smells of urine. They have questionable practices in bathing, personal hygiene & toiletry of the patients. Some employed there are untrustworthy & rude and some just don't care. Items such as dentures, glasses, watches, clothing or other personal belongings have either disappeared, been ruined or replaced without family's knowledge. The overall appearance within is very drabb & worn out there is no social activities, recreations or stimulation offered throughout the day. But the worst thing of all is the owner is only in it for profit nothing more so dont except anything nice. Unfortunately this place should only be considered as a last resort and always question anything out of the norm.
