My family member was at St. Mary's for rehab (or so we thought). They would not let him leave! The doctor hardly visited him (twice in four weeks). The nursing staff was overworked and there would often be one person for an entire wing. They seemed to blend the dementia patients with those who were just there for rehab. The head nurse was very unfriendly and not helpful. I would highly recommend you do not send a loved one here! They disregarded his diet (highly salty foods even though we requested a low sodium diet).
