Horrible! I would never put a family member here, unless you plan on staying with them constantly. Very rarely did anyone even check on my dad. I pushed the button for help twice, I timed it, it took 30 minutes one time and 35 the other before anyone came. My Dad ended up getting up and going to the bathroom on his own. Many times if we asked for something they said “we’ll be right back “... never came back. One evening my dad didn’t get dinner... the 2nd night he was there, we ordered him a Hamburger, they came in at 5:25 and said they were out of Hamburgers, so he ordered a hot dog.... never came back with it. Good thing we were there to run out and get him something. The food was absolutely terrible! Many times they would have s meat, 2 vegetables, but no potatoes. No one ever came down to get my dad for meals, if it wasn’t for a great Roommate Michael telling him when to go, he wouldn’t have gone. If you don’t go down to eat, they bring a tray, really late, and good food was always cold. No set schedule for PT, they would come to take him at dinner... different times every day. Many other issues, just too many to name them all. We couldn’t wait to get my dad out of there!

I have a family member that was there for approx. a month. First off they didn't always feed the patient. Some of the staff didn't want to assist the patient in getting up to go to the bathroom. They showered her once every three or four days.
Then after being told in writing that we would wash the patients clothes-they 'lost' the pajamas. Brand new clothing. The feeling I got is that some and I mean some of the staff just were either burned out or hated their job.

mother was admitted in May 2015, left in September 2015 sepsis, and a stage 4 bedsore. Would'nt recommend this place to my worst enemy!

One thing I do not like is you come in and you are able to use the bathroom with some assistance why in the world would you put a diaper on someone?
That in turn has caused a uti then we have to wait up to 72 hours for an urinalysis come on people ... Get one of those sticks you put in the urine and get the antibiotics the patient needs from your "on site pharmacy"
You could clear tell the patient had a fever no temperature was taken
clearly shivering from the fever... The rooms are small with 3 beds in each yes 3 beds they like to put you in the hallway so they can "watch you" where is the patients rights to lay down or sit in there room if they like
Then you ask for a snack for the patient which is suppose to be available at anytime ... I waited for a half an hour for some pudding for my grandmother ... Also you wait for someone to assist your loved one in a transfer then get scolded that I am not suppose to do.... Well come on then help or do your job... What's with a nurse going to find an aide when a patient has to use the bathroom ? Is it above a nurse to assist with patient care? Come on now .. Just mad about the diapers and getting patients to the bathroom which in turn causes infections ... WHY DONT YOU WEAR A DIAPER

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. They seemed like they were using fairly modern treatment methods and procedures, but I'm not really sure. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. The patient rooms are inadequate. The patient in one bed cannot get into the bathroom if the other patient is sitting in a chair next to the bed. Very bad room design. The only redeeming feature was the PT. She was excellent.

My overall experience with this nursing home was just ok. I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to recommend them to anyone.

On the initial visit, many staff members introduced themselves and were very attentive and so nice. Once our mother was there, we found most of the staff assigned to our unit was not very nice and not very knowledgable. If we weren't there during the day when the upper management was working, it was difficult to get any answers or attention at all. Several times, meals were not brought to Mom. Some of the staff members are wonderful and definitely belong in their chosen occupation.

Yesterday, Mom's roommate, with severe chronic issues, couldn't get a response about her meds for over two hours. We tried to get assistance and were told by the nurse, Vanessa, to mind our own business and that the roommate was probably just wanting more meds, and not because she needed them. When we asked for a recipient rights form, she suddenly turned into sugar and was very attentive. However, we tired quickly of hearing about how she just got back from vacation and wasn't able to help the patients as she was adjusting.
