Out of the many different homes I’ve visited, Pine acres nursing home, seemed to be the one for my dad. The place was clean and well maintained, and provided a comfortable atmosphere.

They had a mix of residents who seemed lively and energetic while others were more confined. The staff was very knowledgeable and seemed to be very nice and caring . I was very appreciative that they were able to explain a lot of different things about the memory care unit servicing dementia and Alzheimer's patients, which seemed very up to date. The rooms themselves were clean and fairly nicely decorated. They have interesting daily activities for all the residents. Overall I was pretty impressed with the caring and knowledgeable staff, and the the home as a whole.

Pine acres nursing home is a wonderful place. I definitely consider it to be among the best of the many nursing homes and assisted living facilities which I’ve visited.

I visited pine acres when I was prospecting for a potential home to place my mom. I had already visited many homes, all of which didn’t allow me to be fully comfortable with the idea of mom actually living there. However, in my visit to pine acres, I felt nothing but positive vibes, and was able to picture my mom living there and being treated right. The staff there was friendly, polite, and helpful. The residents who I met were in good spirits and had positive things to say about the home and the staff. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and the home itself was clean and orderly.

Overall I got a great impression of pine acres, and ultimately decided to send mom there. If you have a relative who you’re looking to place in a warm and caring environment, I highly recommend that you look into pine acres.

Very badly under staffed. You wait for every thing. That includes going to the bathroom if you need help walking, eating,anything physical. I had a graft on my foot and could not put any weight on it. I felt like I was in prison because I waited for everything, even going to the bathroom!
It was the worst time of my life. Plus the maintenance man would turn the heat up all day long so he could leave by 3:30 pm. The place was unbearably HOT. I sat and sweated all day long - the air conditioner and heat were at full blast! This was not a pleasant stay for me - not in the slightest - see if you can find a better place.
