I am a travel physical therapist, and I found the director of rehab, Amanda Allen, to be extremely unprofessional. If this is any indication of how they treat their residents, I would stay clear. I was hired, with contract in hand, to work for the company and fill a position of need. I spoke with Amanda and was all set to travel and move to the site. The NEXT day, she decided to terminate her end of the contract stating that the census had dropped. I believe this information could have been conveyed to me only 12 hours earlier if this was the case. Instead of sticking to contract, the team decided that if I did show up (because they were obligated to provide me with work at this point), they would not give me enough hours and my contract time would start immediately (I hadn't even moved to PA yet). Beyond belief this company has interfered with my professional career, my income, and my opinion of how someone involved in healthcare and disregard a contract, which behind it, stands a human being with bills and a growing career. Needless to say, I was supposed to move to PA within the following TWO days. I feel that this company is extremely unprofessional. I would stay clear. I think they would do anything to cheat you. I've never heard of being treated such a way when you sign a contract to provide professional HELP. Go somewhere else.
