The staff at this facility is AWESOME! A few years ago, our parents were living in Florida. The assisted living place where they resided was horrible! My father passed and we brought my mom to Fairview. She came here in terrible condition...The staff cared for her and she looks and acts ten years younger than she did when she came. She has made many friends of residents and staff, as well. They 'do her nails' almost weekly...every Wednesday they have someone to wash, cut or style hair. She is very friendly and good with the residents. Mom, herself, calls this her home. Not only have we sat through meals, but BINGO games and participate in many of the activities, right along with our mom. I believe if you really care about a resident in a retirement facility you must make more of an effort than putting in a "monthly" visit...Our family visits a minimum of once a week...We participate in many of the activities...We don't just belong to mom....a lot of the residents look forward to our weekly visits as well...There are family who only live a few miles away. My sisters and I live 60 miles away and still manage to make weekly visits....before you judge any facility..visit and participate in some of the activities. Our initial plan was to move her closer to us but they are so good to her here that it is well worth the long drive and wouldn't think of having her any place else. Elizabeth A.Ross

If you care about your Loved-one, stay far away from this place. This facility is only concerned with keeping the food cost at a bare minimum. They do not provide a healthy nutritional diet. They staff can be very rude and intusive. Do you due diligence and find a more adequate facility for yourself or loved-one.
