Chatham Acres no longer exists. There is a new building in it's place. For every negative comment here there is the another side of the story. With respect to the old Chatham Acres building, yes it was quite outdated and had it's environmental issues. However it was grand in its hey day and provided caring service to hundreds of residents. The long time staff members cherish the memories and strive to make new memories while continuing to provide quality care to the short and long term residents in the new building. Twin Pines Health Care Center.

Is there a ZERO star? IT IS HELL ON EARTH--a fate worse than death--death is kinder-- a loved one is better off sent to a jail to live their years out--a disgrace to the nursing industry and it is an industry--FOR PROFIT ONLY --theirs--i visited a friend at this nightmare of a place for a year- weekly-met some nice residents whom i became attached to and they me---i brought them clothes from a give away charity and food and made them SMILE---maybe eight looked forward to my weekly visit---conditions were abhorible and there is a porch but you are not allowed out because of inadequate staff to save bucks so they remain in "jail" and offered antidepressants instead of being allowed outside---THEFT is rampant-my friends jewelry was all gone and her safe broken into for the monthly spending money that was unaccounted for by anyone but the staff who fudged dates on these pathetic older people who did not notice dates and times--- and when noticed frowned upon---I EVENTUALLY even though i brought cheer to the hopeless was banned from coming any longer--it broke my heart and left a number of people that way as well--IT IS A HELLHOLE MONEY MAKING PRISON that does not care about anything else---Suck the state for the 8k and leave veggies---the administrative staff is an uppity black woman and a lesbian bitch---THE PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN--God i did so much good there and they did not want it nor local churches or anyone---to see how awful it is--TO THE ADMINISTRATORS--i hope you end up in chatham acres---the reward will be deserved---what goes around comes around--KEEP ON GIVING THOSE PILLS OUT INSTEAD OF LETTING YOUR RESIDENTS ENJOY THE SUN AND FLOWERS----------------------------------- 0 ON A SCALE OF 10

My Dad and i were thinking of putting my mom in there, I wouldn't put my dog in there, it was a horrible place to visit. It was beautiful outside, but the inside looked like an insane asylum. We will never go back.
