My experience with Dr. Ellen Kim wasn't that bad, until she called in the generic for a prescription that I needed the branded product (because the generic is not effective and causes me to get very ill), I was sent the wrong prescription via my mail order pharmacy, and was charged twice for the wrong prescription.

My insurance company said they could NOT refund me because the doctor called in the wrong script, and only the physician could correct the mistake she made.

When I called Dr. Ellen Kim's office (Wrightstown Family Medicine), she wouldn't take my calls, and refused to call me back when I left messages for her asking for her help.

I would be very careful when choosing a family practice and a family doctor, because I don't know what I would do if this were a prescription for one of my children, and she had done this to them.

When calling Dr. Kim's office for a referral, Dr. Kim's office assistant told me that she could not provide any phone numbers without me coming into the office first. I did so. I saw Dr. Kim and she gave me a phone number for services which she said would be performed in Newtown, PA. I paid $85 for this. There wasn't a referral attached, no diagnosis, no recommendation, just a phone number.

After I got home, I called the number and it doesn't even work. Since then, I've called her office 5 times to explain this and they have been extremely rude, saying, "I'm sorry you don't agree with the doctors opinion." Since when is a wrong phone number and a missing referral an opinion? They kept telling me I paid for medical services, not understanding, or caring, that I did not receive medical services. I received nothing more than faulty directory assistance.

I then told them I would write this review, and they told me they will release my child from their practice. What nice people. I am never going there again. Dr. Kim, if you can't do your job, don't charge me for it!
