They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else.(other than with my own DR who had referred me to DR Greer). Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. , I was referred to DR Greer in the mid '90's by my DR Joseph Robinette (quite recently, deceased) of the GYFT Clinic in Tacoma. I had a rare carcinoma-inSitu of the left vulvar lip. I had been exposed to HPV in the early '70's and after several laser vaporavations and the cells returning, DR Greer saw me as a second opinion. He totally agreed w/my DR that the next course of treatment should be a partial lipectomy. Previously in 1990 I had had a hysto and everything was removed except 1 ovary. I have been well, since that part of my lip, was removed, until now. In the last 4 months I have gained 35 lbs (most in the abdo area). I have lots of pain, gas, bloating and now my new DR see's "something", in my vagina. I WISH, I could be seen by Dr Greer again especially in light of his former knowledge of my weird body. I TRUST DR Greer, I respect him and IF I HAD INSURANCE, I would make an appointment right now! I have been divorced (after 28 yrs of marriage) since he saw me, have no health insurance and no support. Dr Greer was surprised at out 1st visit to find I had come to UW alone, w/o my husband or anyone to support me. He introduced me to a kind woman he told me I might like to talk to, when I felt I needed support. This, was an important issue to him. I cannot believe the above negative remarks about DR Greer. I hardly think any man who cared so for a patients mental condition as well as physical condition had any other motive (i.e. money), but to try and HEAL and HELP. Bless you DR Greer.
