I would not recommend Dr. Hoffman. She was routinely inattentive and insensitive in providing care. Each month, was late in approving refills for a prescription that I have been taking for years and which she had no issues with me taking. It would several phone calls, long wait times, to get anywhere with her. Moreover, she misread an MRI and nearly had me go through an entirely unnecessary intensive course of action of treatment. Had it not been for several other doctors highlighting her mistake, it would not have been remedied. It was a frustrating experience have her as my primary care provider.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely the surroundings are. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.

I moved to Vancouver from another Washington city. I eagerly looked for a Dr in Vancouver and made an appointment to get meet her and go over all my medical and prescriptions. I thought that went well. I was told that they would send for my medical records. Once that happened they would schedule me for my pap and mammo, etc. Never happened.

THEN I needed my prescriptions refilled. Keep in mind she wrote down what I was taking and the dosages...so that would be in my chart.
The pharmacy sent two requests to the Dr's office and there was no response nor any call to me if they wanted me to come in to be seen. Monday morning I called the Dr's office during business hours and got voice mail. Left a message that I need this prescription refilled. At 5:30 Monday evening I finally got a call back that it was approved. I went to the pharmacy today,Wednesday, to pick it up and it had not been called in!

I have been trying to get this one for over a week and finally did today at 1/2 the dosage. I told them it was wrong. They went to get Dr approval and came back and said sorry, my Dr was out of the office and the other Dr would not approve it. I guess no one bothered to look in my chart!
I do not handle stupidity or laziness well. Needless to say I am very upset. The prescription I need I have been taking for 3 years and was told I would be taking it the rest of my life. It's just a mild antibiotic for a bacteria I have. If I don't take it I break out all over.

In the past whenever I have had to call my Dr's office regarding medical issues I would call the nurse and not have to go through a receptionist at the front desk.
Totally not a good experience....I can't blame Dr Hoffman for this personally, however she does hires the staff and assigns their job duties.

I have not had an experience like this before and it won't happen again as I am Dr looking for a new Doctor.
