Dr. Hoda Makkawi is an unprofessional, rude, careless family doctor! She treated me with disrespect and didn't answer any of my questions. I won't recommend her to anyone! You will waste your time with her and you won't be treated with respect or concern. I went to her because I wanted my chronic cough that I have been suffering from for over a month checked, but little did I know that she didn't even take me very seriously and prescribed me clairatin D (which is for allergies and not chronic coughs). Having had enough of her treatment and lack of concern and respect, I ran out of her clinic and swore I'd never step foot inside. She is not a real doctor! Do not waste your time with her. When I made an appointment with another family doctor, he focused on my problem and took me very seriously. I told him the same symptoms I told Dr. Makkawi and unlike her, he started asking me questions about my symptoms and didn't wave me off like she did. He finally told me that I have whooping cough and prescribed me antibiotics for my cough. I left his clinic feeling confident that my problem will be taken care of, unlike Dr. Makkawi who left me feeling angry!
