Dr Kay or his staff values the patient time. I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time to see him on top of being told to arrive 30 minutes prior. Once I was called back to exam room I had to wait another 30 minutes for dr. Kay to come in. He spent 10 minutes with me examining my back pain. His office staff says he always runs late. I asked why do they book so many appointments then. They replied we never know if he run late or not.
I will not be going back to see him again. He asked I come back in thirty days. I do not recommend him at all
His office at Arlington Orthopedics Assoc. said I had canceled more times than I had with him for a back injection. The first cancellation was due to an insurance code not going through. So I had to reschedule to give them time to sort that out. The office put in a different code but the office came back saying the cost would be over double of what they told me with the other codes. So, I had to reschedule to get it sorted out again. By the 3rd appt I had to cancel due to other health issues. After getting those issues sorted out, another doctor recommended a different, more specialized doctor in that practice, so I went to him after having an MRI done. He said I needed a back injection also and wanted to schedule me with Dr. Kay. About 2 weeks later I get a call saying that Dr. Kay is refusing to see me because of the cancellations! I was in shock and the office would not even take into consideration that 2 of the cancellations had to do with their office and insurance coding issues. He was refusing to treat me and would not even reconsider the issue. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper and will not recommend Dr. Kay or this facility (Arlington Orthopedic Assoc.) to anyone.
