I am new to town & needed a new Dr. I thought Dr. Polk was very thorough. I've always had a woman Dr. & was sceptical at first. I think he is a keeper. 😁 Oh, & I like the staff also.

Not happy with Dr. Polk. Dr. Polk, in the past, was an excellent Doctor. Dr. Polk doesn't listen, he brings his life experience to the office and makes a decision not based on facts. Dr. Polk's nurse has become rude. Dr. Polk went from being compassionate to judgemental. I am devastated! Dr. Polk didn't ask for a follow up after a recent procedure. I found another Doctor that did a follow up.

The staff are great and work hard to get things done. They return calls quickly and take a real interest in the person. They treat patients as people not numbers. Dr. Polk really cares about his patients and goes above and beyond in providing quality care. He is a rare find and I feel fortunate and blessed to have him as my primary care doctor. I am dreading the day he retires. He is great at making accurate an diagnosis but also knows when to refer to another doctor. He tends to be conservative in treatment and does not run test after test just to run them.
