Dr. Gentry was my primary care physician for several years. I asked her to refer me to a specialist and get authorization from my insurance. They did send in the referral, but failed to send in the paperwork for the authorization (which I didn't find out until a month AFTER my appointment). Now I am stuck with a $600 bill from the specialist because insurance won't cover the visit since authorization wasn't sent in ahead of time. Dr. Gentry's office admitted their fault, but refuses to pay a penny. They have been rude to me on the phone, won't return my calls, and won't even let me speak to Dr. Gentry herself about the issue. I will NEVER go back to her again!
