I went in for an issue with my hand that I believed to be carpal tunnel. All they did was take an x-ray (That I told them would be negative since I had one done prior to making the appointment) and gave me some shot. The pain went away for about 2 or 3 days and then returned. I also had purchased a wrist stabilizer that had worked fairly well but they insisted on a custom made one that did not work as well. Then of course they billed me a huge amount for an unnecessary x-ray and wrist stabilizer. I however was not aware of the bill since it had been almost 6 months since I received mail at that address, so they sent it to collections. I called and mailed them a payment and told them that the collection was not needed and a phone call could have helped to avoid all this. They have yet to inform the collection company of this and it is now on my credit report for no reason. Now I keep getting calls saying I owe money to the collection agency even though I already paid the doctors office.
