I have been a regular patient of Dr. Matsko Sr. for several years. Unfortunately he retired a couple of years ago, now his son is in charge and the practice went down hill. A few months ago I had strep throat and needed to schedule an appointment. I called as soon as the office opened. They stated that there were no appointments available for that day and I needed to go to the ER. This was after I was on hold for over 10 mins and had to call back. When Dr. Matsko Sr. left, I had to see his son, Dr. Matsko Jr. I felt that he was very abrupt, and very cold. He seemed annoyed when I asked for refills on my medication. Since then, I decided to see the nurse practioner. She was great, but she left also. It seems like when Dr. Matsko Sr. left they can't keep any other Doctors there. The last time I was there, the paper sheet they put on top of the table wasn't even changed. It had butt marks on it. To top all that, I have a friend who used to go there. She received a letter in the mail from her insurance provider stating that Dr. Matsko Jr. no longer is accepting her insurance and that she has less than a month to find another Doctor. I couldn't believe it. She was a patient there longer than I was. He didn't even have the decency to send her a letter himself. He just discarded her like she was trash. I don't get it. I understand that it is a business, but we are all human beings. People do not deserve to be treated like that. I know his Dad would have never done that.
