Worst doctor ever! Dr. Murray is sometimes late for appointments but doesn't offer to make up the time, you just get a shorter appointment if he is late. He takes phone calls from people right in the middle of your appointment, which makes you feel like you aren't very important to him as a patient. He can come off as very caring, but if he becomes upset, he will be very rude to you. He violated confidentiality and lost my trust and respect. I ended up feeling more abused by him than by those who had physically/sexually abused me in the past. I would never recommend him.

I wish I had NEVER met this man. I was a patient of Dr. Murray's for several years. He seemed kind and compassionate, and really acted like he cared. He would tell me he would never give up on me, that he would never just walk away and leave me the way some people in my life had in the past. "You're stuck with me," he would say. Knowing I love cats, he even gave me a book about Dewey the Library Cat and told me to put it on my bookshelf to remember how safe it felt in his office and that he was never giving up on me. However, a few weeks ago, out of the blue, he told me OVER THE PHONE that he had just decided the day before that he wasn't going work with me anymore. He refused to discuss it or give me a reason, did not provide any assistance in finding another provider, and would not allow further sessions to help me process what was happening. It was all very abrupt. This happened while I was in the middle of a crisis, and he just appeared to walk away from the situation without a care in the world. The kindness and compassion I had grown to so appreciate was replaced by an ice-cold demeanor and rude manner. I have been devastated by this and don't think I will ever trust a doctor again. He will never understand the damage caused by his actions.
