Dr. John Gatlin has been my internist since 2001. I'm now in my mid-late 50's and have been through some pretty difficult medical problems during this time period. I've gained good confidence in him over the last 12+ years as my internist including his overall competency as well as his "bedside manner" so to speak. He obviously truly cares about his patients and I have furthermore found that he is also easy to confide in. {easy to talk to about my medical problems}. I also have also been able to get quick appointments especially when it concerned something serious. I'm very particular about my doctors and from what I've seen I think my picking Lake Norman Internal Medicine has been a very wise choice.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. He is always very supportive and understanding of my difficult and complex medical situation and always works me in to be seen in a timely manner. My entire family uses him as their primary physcian. He has wonderful bedside manner and i would HIGHLY suggest him for any primary care issues! The office staff is also great and very friendly all the time!
