I have been dealing with gall bladder issues for over a year. Nov 2018 to 02-2019 I've been to see Dr Avva's office probably 8 or 9 times with the same issues since Dec 2017. Out of those 8 times he actually seen me once. They did run a few gall bladder tests and found tiny gall stones.
Back in Nov of 2018 I called (this was the 8th or 9th time) with the same pain issues in my gall bladder area like I had every other time. It flares up at night and keeps me awake for hours its so uncomfortable.

Finally a gastrologist sent me to see a surgeon and they recommended me having my GB removed. Now I have to pay 3000.00 out of pocket for my insurance deductible when this could have been taken care in 2018 when I already met my deductible. I told his assistant Yolanda that I have met my deductible can you please send me to a surgeon or try any other tests back in Nov 2018 and she just said there is nothing we can do.

One more thing, When Dr Avva seen me in Nov he just said try drinking more water.
Basically there lack of taking time with a patient will now cost me an extra 3K because this wasn't handled in 2018. Especially after my deductible was met. Make sure you can find a doctor that will take time and listen instead of throwing there hands up the the air when you have the same ongoing issue

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The office was easy enough to find.
Obe problem is that Dr. Avva is often not in the office during the week. No one can leave a message or get in touch during these times. The last time I was there he was covering for other doctors. I waited 2 hours to see him, and he was in a hurry and spent a total of 10 minutes with me.

The office was easy enough to find. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Dr. Avva and nurse Heather were both very compasionate and knowledgeable. i wouldn't trade them for anyone.
