On the recommendation of a friend who also had been botched by her prior Plastic Surgeon, which was the same one as mine, I did a consult with Dr Ron Israeli. I'm so beyond happy that I did travel from FL to NY for it. He's been my Plastic Surgeon since May 2015. I'm beyond thrilled that he was able to repair what before was a mess that the VA hospital had created. I'd never hesitate to recommend him to any one needing a Plastic Surgeon and for that matter, I do all the time.

Best Plastic Surgeon you will find! I've been a patient of Dr. Ron Israeli from 2013 to present. I'm beyond grateful I found Dr. Israeli. I had breast cancer and my former PS botched my reconstruction. If not for Dr. Israeli, I would still be living with the consequences of that surgery. He is the only PS in the United States that works in conjunction with a co-Surgeon to have a proven repair for Abdominal hernias after botched Tram Flaps and DIEP Flaps. After my hernias were repaired, Dr. Israeli fixed my severely lopsided and small A cup at best, reconstructed breasts that my former PS left me with, using staged breast fat grafting procedures. I also chose to have nipple reconstruction and areole and nipple tattoo. I trust him implicitly. The results are wonderful. He gave me back, the ability to feel whole again. My newly reconstructed breasts are now a C cup and so realistic that one would not know I had a mastectomy and reconstruction. My reconstruction is now complete. And I continue to refer women from all over, to Dr. Israeli. I belong to many breast cancer groups and many friends of mine have also made the trip from all over the United States to consult and have surgery by Dr. Israeli.
I actually live in the Southern U.S., but have made the trip to LI, NY, because Dr. Israeli is an excellent PS. I don't trust another PS to touch me. His bedside manner is exemplary and very meager for a PS with such expertise. I promise you. You will be in the best of hands. Dr. Israeli and his office become like family to me. They treat their patients with the utmost respect, and kindness. It's rare to find a PS these days like him. I cannot thank him enough for restoring me.

he seems nice and competent, but I have found he is dishonest, why...he works with Dr Palleschi, I found her to be very strange.... she was trying to force my to go to north shore imaging for testing, I live in NYC, i needed to go get these tests close by.. she told me she only trusted North Shore, I find that interesting cause they lost my film!!! anyway I decided to stay in NY for testing....Palleschi had a fit, she made my life miserable for a month.... nice thing for a cancer doctor to do make a cancer patients life more stressful than it is.
Anyway, back to Dr Israeli, I saw him spend hours there, and they took my insurance.
I asked Dr Israeli if he new another good surgeon, as Palleschi gave me much grief, over where to take tests!!
Long story short, he lied to me to get rid of me by having his office tell me 6 weeks after I saw him they do not accept my insurance. That was medical negligence.
For the sake of argument , lets say they do no accept my insurance, they wait six weeks to tell me? Any doctor who puts their friends above the paitent with cancer should have their license revoked.. this is negligent and a disgrace to all good surgeons in USA. Use him at your own risk.
The morals of a Dr speaks volumes about them.. Dr Israeli has proven he has little morals or caring except for his colleagues .
