I decided to write this review based on the fact that I have just gotten a bill even though I have not gone to this practice. And, I will tell you exactly why I didn't go to this practice.

My son was sick for over 3 weeks with some sort of virus and had recurrent vomiting and diarrhea. When I called Westchester Pediatrics, it was around 2:30 and I was told that if I wanted to come in that day, it would have to be by 4PM... but even before I decided on it, a nurse got on the phone and was pretty much belittling me about my son's condition. She told me that she or a doctor "may be calling me back." She did call me back to tell me to take my son to a hospital in Long Island... why would they tell me to go to a hospital in LI when I live in White Plains??? Were they afraid that I would go to the ER in the middle of the night where they have privileges and I would name one of their doctors as my son's PCP and they would have to come in for a consult? Naturally, this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth so I called and cancelled the appointment the day before the appointment.

And, now, they send me a bill for not showing up for their appointment. These people are crazy. There are way too many pediatricians in the area who are way nicer and know what they are doing. I'm glad I didn't go here... Horrible experience

We have been going to this practice for many years because the doctors are knowledgable and efficient. However, the office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. No one acknowledges you when the enter the office, and when they finally do it is with barely concealed contempt. They do not where name tags or identify themselves by name when answering the phone. I assume this is so you can not complain about them when you see the doctor. If you ask to speak to a doctor, they act as if you are requesting a special meeting with the President. It is really a shame, because the doctors are very good, but the staff makes you feel like you are nothing but a serial number. I know several families that have left the practice in search of a more caring environment. Also, the cleanliness of the waiting area leaves something to be desired.

They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. I didn't feel completely safe when I arrived for my appointment because the building wasn't in a very safe neighborhood. They should maybe consider moving somewhere else if they want clients to return. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The staff is extremely rude.They will not take your busy schedule into consideration . They also will charge you hefty cancelation fees but have no problem making you sit in there waiting room all day. Some of the Doctors are good, but the whole experience is not wrth the aggrevation. Do your self a favor and find a better pediatric group.

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Absolutely! Every parent in my community thinks very highly of them

Absolutely! They were very entertaining!

No, they've never taken personal calls with me
