I couldn't believe how rude and inconsiderate they were especially since i have been coming here for 17 years. The front desk women Simmon was rude like always and did not want to help in any way. in the last two years every time i make an appointment i have had a problem. plus i wait almost an hour before anyone sees me to a room, then wait some more for a doctor. The doctors rush the exam and I don't feel a 5 minute exam is worth &125. They couldn't really take the time to answer all of my questions, some of them went unanswered. I was a little unsure about my treatment still. The waiting area was overcrowded and too small. I usually don't have a problem bit the last 4 visits i wanted to get out of that office as soon as possible. I am changing doctors and its sad because I've been coming here since I had my daughter!

I've never had such a horrible experience with a doctor's office in my life. I don't want to speak about Dr. Goldstein's effectiveness as a doctor--as far as I know, he is a knowledgable and experienced OB/GYN--but his office is incompetent and has padded my bills with completely unnecessary and EXPENSIVE tests. The first time I went to the office, after a very painful and insensitive attempt at using the speculum, they told me that it didn't "fit," so I would have to have a sonogram done instead. An extra $100 everytime I go. I assumed they knew what they were talking about, but I have since switched to a new office and they had no problems at all using the speculum. How interesting.

The second time I went, for my annual Pap smear and apparently necessary sonogram, I was charged for a second $500 X-Ray. I was 22, perfectly healthy and was never told that this X-Ray was necessary or that it was being performed at all. It took six months to straighten the billing mess out, after which they finally agreed to remove the test from my bill.

My sister and I had our last and final visit in August 2010, just another appointment to have our annual Pap smears done. When we received our lab bills, we discovered we had both been tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, an extra $120 each. We NEVER asked for these tests; we were absolutely, perfectly healthy, my sister wasn't even sexually active, and I've only ever had one, completely STD-free partner, who was a virgin just like me before we became active. I want to reiterate that I had no signs at all of any STDs--and even if I DID, I would certainly want my doctor to tell me if he thought it was a concern that merited a lab test, so that I could INFORM MY BOYFRIEND that we somehow had an STD problem. To top it all off, my sister and I weren't even contacted with the results of these STD tests, which makes me believe even more that they were done for no reason at all but to steal our money.

So, we called to ask why we were tested, and were told "Oh it's policy, everyone gets tested." Oh really? Everyone who walks in there gets two random STD tests? Wow--because the last few times we came for Pap smears, we never got tested for this crap. "Oh, it's a new policy." Ah, certainly! When was I informed of this new policy going into action? Because I certainly never would have continued going to your office if I knew about it. "Oh, we didn't inform you..." Good. Then we both agree this will be removed from our bills. "Yes, just fax it over and we'll straighten it out." Six months later, and we are STILL getting billed by the lab for these tests, and the lab is now threatening me with a collection agency. I have called the doctor's office three times, and they keep assuring me that it's all being sorted out. I am disgusted at these shameless attempts to steal patients' money with these ridiculous testing policies, and I will NEVER go to this office ever again.
