Dr. Meltzer is in such a rush you have 1 minute to tell him your history and problems. He sends you to specialists for every medical issue and does not treat you even for the simplest problem. He never goes over test results with you. When you are sick he will not get you in but sends you to ER or offers you a physician assistant in 2 days He is uncaring, incompetent and rude. I have left the practice and am happier with another doctor who actually takes care of me!

Dr. Meltzer is just not that good a doctor at all. He missed my strep throat, didn't even do a culture and told me it was a virus and to come back in a week if I wasn't better. I ended up in the ER with a horrible strep throat and double ear infection diagnosed and treated by the nurse practitioner who was smarter, more thorough and gave me the time and attention I deserved. I switched to his partner who was so much better, but now that he has left the practice do yourself a favor and do what I did-- go to the practice next door: Drs. Mazure, Laxer and Rubenstein.

Dr. Meltzer rushes you in and out. He hardly listens, doesn't ask many questions, does cursory exam ( he didn't even take my blood pressure most of the time and I have hypertension). He refers you for every complaint to specialists. Do yourself a favor- - go elsewhere or see his partner Dr. Kassan who takes his time and is super smart and actually will diagnose and treat you too. Office staff is overworked and understaffed and stressed out.

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!
