I use one of the other physicians in the practice. My doctor was away on an emergency and I had onset of chest discomfort (which ended up being pneumonia, not cardiac, thank God!) I had been assigned to Dr. Cohen. It was clear from the moment he walked through the door he couldn't be bothered with me or any of my problems. I am young; I have severe heart damage; and when I come there for chest pain I expect it to be taken seriously; not to be blown off. He was very unprofessional and if I could find out how to contact the state medical board for further review, I will. He refused to prescribe or even refill any of my meds and I left with the same pain I came there in. No tests were run; not even an EKG or a chest xray. I went to the hospital the next day and after 3 days was feeling much better. The practice as a whole is good; but maybe it's time to get rid of those who are "burnt" and bring in some fresh blood; those with passion to heal and compassion to care.
