He gave me excellent treatment. Did not want to take my insurance anymore due to changes he was making in his practice. That was a couple of years ago. Now when I am very ill I am having to think again about having to see if I can reconnect with him as I believe he could get me straighten out.

When I told them about my situation,the appointment attendant told me tat there was not an appointment available for 8 days, even though I told her I needed to have surgery; they could have been more caring.When I tried to make an appointment through their on-line service, my appointments kept being cancelled and the appointment attendant called and rudely told me, "I told you we did not have an appointment until next Thursday." They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from. When I told her their on-line service showed several appointments available, she said that calendar was not accurate.

In the mean time my specialist sent in my blood test results to Dr. Noguera's staff. Did anyone look at the results, no. They did not put the results into my file until I came in for the appointment which was three days after Noguera's office received the results. The results showed that I had such severe anemia tat I needed to have a blood transfusion. Unfortunately, that meant that I had to incur the cost of additional testing because the tests were over a week old. My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time. Dr. Noguera is willing to get additional input from other professionals. I never have to worry about them giving me a wrong answer just because they weren't willing to ask for help.

However, when it came time to share those results with my surgeon the office staff sent them to the hospital not the surgeon even after the surgeon's office and I both called. I was in the presurgical waiting room when everything was finally straightened out.

I followed Dr. Noguera from South County to Arnold to Festus. I liked the care he provided. But I do not have the time to check and follow up on his staff, whose responsibilities have made them very busy. In fact the practice has expanded so much that the entire staff is over-extended.
