If you're reading this, you're considering them for a root canal, as that's all they do. I've had a few root canals before, and been in more than my share of dental offices, especially with my husband and children. This is one of the worst experiences I've had in every regards. For example, it's now considered rountine to swab the gum with local pain killer before putting in the needle. Not only did he not do that, but when I asked for it on the next shot he said the pain is only temporary. Of course, that logic mitigates paying for a root canal.
I would say the relationship went downhill after the root canal failed, but the customer service experience was always terrible, except they have a fancy office.
I would also say I need to cut my losses, but I will live with this forever, as my referring dentist wants me to get the tooth pulled.
I got a 3rd opinion and that dentist showed me much better x-rays where I could see the inflammed root thread, and puss of infection. That dentist says get the root canal done again.
This office that did the procedure is not providing anywhere near the care I have come to expect from dental offices. To make a long story short, here's on thing they did wrong. They said come in for free, and then charged me. I'm just asking for followup care/advice. Naturally I would expect to pay for more treatment. And naturally I paid, but objected, at which point they, both dentists and the office manager, have become abusive.
No one can say a failed root canal is their fault. But no one can say it's not their fault either. Certainly being abusive towards patients is their fault, and you deserve better.
