I always want records of my dental visits, so I asked them for an invoice. Instead of giving me one right away, they kept making excuses for why they couldn't give me one, and didn't end up giving me one for weeks. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. It messed up my entire day. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all. When I heard from a few other dentists to avoid Royal Dental I knew that I should steer clear. They didn't have a good reputation at all with all the other dentists I've talked to.

Let me just say that the chairs in their waiting room are quite comfortable. Its nice that they care about patient comfort. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. They need to treat their staff with more respect. They weren't overly rude but they could have been a lot nicer. They barely had any magazines to choose from, and the ones that were available weren't very interesting. I did experience some pain that I felt could have been avoided, but it wasn't too bad.

I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my safety more important than always having an answer. I had to wait for a little while after I arrived for my appointment, but I've had to wait longer at other places. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on.

Not the best place but not bad. If you don't mind being around a lot of children and noise this is ok. Because my daughter has medicaid, she was able to have a tooth extracted before she get's her braces. It went awesome. Dr. Hoffman is great with kids. Thank goodness for that. He was awesome. However, I didn't get any information after the surgery about what happened or what to do next. Little disappointed with that, but will call them to see what she does next before she gets her braces and when she can go in for that.

I've seen a couple of dentists and they are pretty good. Staff was friendly and caring for my daughter. Would I go there personally? Not if I have insurance because I cannot handle all the noise. I prefer a quiet atmosphere. But when you have no choice, this is a good place to go to.

Calling next day to get a paper for school faxed is a problem. They put you on hold for an eternity just to take down the fax number and name of child. I know they are busy but most people call using a cell phone and it wastes money. They need to have someone answer the phone and take call quickly.

Be advised if you are going to this facility you need to go prepared. They will not tell you to bring x-rays from the regular dentist (I was referred for oral surgery), they wanted me to pay cash for new x-ray even though they were not necessary. In addition, they tried to charge me for the office visit even though my Insurance tells me its covered (I called my Insurance again after leaving this office without treatment) yet they still wanted more cash from me. When they tell you to come in they will not treat you, they will ding you for a 'consult' first then make you come back for another visit. The whole thing is set up to scam not just your insurance but you as well. Sadly, I hear its like this at alot of dental practices now but not so sure I believe that. Good luck.
