Dr. Horecky and his staff have always been friendly and helpful. He is an amazing dental professional, highly recommend him.

Do not waste your time at this dentist office. We had just switched dentists last March. I informed Dr Horecky's staff that my 2 kids had just had cleanings in Feb. We only get 2 cleanings covered at 100% per calendar year under our insurance plan. As new patients, the dentist office contacts our insurance to verify insurance, obtain breakdown of insurance coverage and obtain history. They were well aware that my kids had a cleaning in February. They scheduled the kids cleaning appointments in the summer while they were out of school and at that appointment they booked their next cleaning appt for end of December. I didn't catch that this would be the 3rd cleaning in one calendar year. It's the dentist office's job to manage the account and keep record of how many cleanings have been done per year. So of course, the insurance denied coverage and the dentist office sends me a bill. I call to discuss it and missed the call back. I called 3 more times over the course of a week and never received a call back. I mailed a letter explaining that I didn't feel it was my responsibility to pay the denied coverage since I made them aware that the kids had a cleaning in February. I finally get a call back and the receptionist/office manager Christine whom I put on speakerphone as I'm carpooling my 3 tennis teammates to a tennis match. She explains that it's a courtesy that they even accept insurance and file it on my behalf!!! Umm, excuse me? She then tells me that it takes too much time for them to get all the details about my benefits and history from my insurance company and they don't feel it is their responsibility to manage our dental schedule of cleanings to coincide with our insurance? NO, that's exactly what a dentist office responsibility is!! I explain to her that I didn't think this was good customer service and questioned if it was worth losing 4 clients and tarnishing the dentists reputation and feedback over $170. I told her I had friends listening to the conversation and that they were shocked at the horrible customer service and asked her to touch base with the dentist to see how he wanted to handle the situation. I told her I didn't think the dentist would want to have negative feedback on review sites, Facebook, posts to neighborhood blogs, etc. over $170. The dentist, Dr Horecky calls back and I missed the call and he left a lengthy voicemail stating that they don't feel the relationship with our family will work out and to let them know who they can forward our records to? I played that voicemail to all 25 ladies at the match we were driving to and each and every one of them were horrified at such awful customer service and ALL were told what dentist office this was. They all agreed that the dentist should have kept better records and not allow 3 cleanings be scheduled in one calendar year when my insurance only covers 2! Note to Dr Horecky, it is your dental office's responsibility to call the insurance company whenever you get a new patient to verify insurance, get a breakdown of benefits, and obtain history. If you don't have "time" to do this as Christine stated, then you need hire more help. And it's not a "courtesy" to accept and file with the insurance. It's your job. It's how you are paid. It's a "courtesy" to have clients give great referrals and you threw that down the toilet over less than $200. Bad move......really bad move.

I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. They answered questions I had and were very friendly and professional.
