Dr. Kapur has done so many serious botch jobs on people all over Ithaca, it's incredible she is still allowed to practice dentistry at all, let alone in Ithaca. She is a seriously, dangerously incompetent dentist who takes no responsibility for the terrible work she does. She does not care that she leaves people in horrible pain and ruins their lives. All she wants is to do the maximum procedures so she can get maximum insurance reimbursement. She will ignore you if you have a complaint, and she will then drop you as a patient after she gets her money from your insurance company. She did a completely unnecessary procedure on me that I did not want, just so she could get max. insurance money. She did the work so badly she left me in excruciating pain. Her response to my telling her about the pain and asking what could be done about it was that I'd "be fine" and she scurried out of the office to go to lunch. I have since had multiple surgeries costing many many thousands of dollars to try to repair what she did to me; but I will end up losing the teeth she destroyed (that were fine before she started). After more than a year of constant pain I am left with my health destroyed and almost unable to work. Everyone who has problems with her (and I have now heard many, many horror stories, similar to mine) should report her to the dental review board here in Tompkins County and to the office of the professions in Albany. SHE SHOULD BE STOPPED and her license should be revoked.
