I originally visited Dr. Bogan at his flushing location a few years ago.

In short, he will do anything in his power to make as much money as possible:

He convinced me that I needed two root canals to save two of my back molars. I had never had any major pains or issues with these teeth, and at my previous dental visit did not even have any cavities in those teeth (it was not until long after the surgery that I would learn that a root canal was completely not necessary in my situation).

Unfortunately, at the time I was gullible enough to believe him and give the ok for the two major dental surgeries. The experience was incredibly painful, and to top it all off, the crowns he ordered to put on top of the remains of the two teeth were not the right size at all. Rather than order new crowns, he attempted to place these ridiculously over sized crowns in my mouth and whittle them down into shape. It was unbelievably uncomfortable and one of them has since fallen out.

In retrospect, I should have realized something was wrong when he told me that one of my teeth did not have a cavity, but could potentially get a cavity in the near future, so he was going to drill it open a little bit and fill it in.

I only wish that I knew then what I know now so I could've sued him for malpractice.

They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. Everyone has heard my raves already about this dentist. They are so amazing, I just want the world to know! I've never seen a dental office that cares about their patients more than they do. They've never pressured me to get dental procedures I don't need, and they always have my best interest in mind. I thought the staff was amazing; they were so friendly and helpful, and made sure I felt welcome there. Let me just say that the chairs in their waiting room are quite comfortable. Its nice that they care about patient comfort.

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. They definitely pressured me to buy products. I felt like they were just trying to make money off me. They weren't horribly inexperienced, but I was hoping for someone with more experience. I wasn't sure they'd be able to help me. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. A couple of times they've stayed open a few minutes past their closing time to help me, but most of the time they'll close at their scheduled time whether someone needs help or not.
