I started going to this dentist because her office is in the same building as mine. The appointments are never on time; the wait has never been less than 20 minutes. I had to have quite a bit of work done last year and only stayed with her out of scheduling convenience. Dr. Gable is pretty much always in a sour mood and is pretty dismissive about any concerns I might have. She spent the entire time of every visit (about 6, total) chatting with the hygienist and actually answered her cell phone during one of my appointments. I don't care if it was her kid... you don't answer your cell phone when you're with a patient!
As far as her work goes... it's not very good. I had to get two crowns, which she filed down shorter than the rest of my teeth (thank goodness they're way in the back). I also had, BY FAR, the most painful filling of my life. I could feel the drill during the procedure and she kept getting annoyed when I flinched and actually mentioned that all her patients were annoying her with flinching that day.... Anyone ever seen Little Shop of Horrors? I could FEEL my tooth being ground away with a sharp metal object... give me more novocaine or I'm gonna flinch.
As for the office staff, their pretty clueless whenever I ask them about anything. For one of my appts, the receptionist literally GUESSED at what my copay would be and changed me, saying they would just give me a refund if I overpaid. Since it was only $25 out of my FSA , I just agreed to pay to avoid more frustration. They ended up having to refund $15.89.
Nothing about this was a plesent experience... and this is coming from someone who used to love going to the dentist, so much she actually considered becoming one when she was younger. I strongly suggest you find someone else.

Kind of, it wasn't unbearable but it was definitely loud

Not really. It felt like they just cared about making money.

A little. I wish they had been more gentle

No, but I can always find a seat

Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.
