Too quick to want to put metal in small children's mouths, and to urge parents to approve other procedures that appear designed to submit excessive charges to insurance companies; will not return to that chain.

My co-coworker took her son to this "dental clinic and she was told to live and her son, he started screeminq and they tied her child to the chair. I told her to qet an attorney because this was child abuse, she is very younq and she did not know how to react. They told her that her son had cavities and when she took him to another dentist, he was find, no cavities. this happened at the winston salem location. I would not recomend to anybody to take their childrens there, in fact this place should be close and the licences canceled.

I wish I could rate this place zero stars!
When we first came to Ft Bragg I looked around for a dentist for my 4 year old and this place seemed great. On our first visit, it seemed unusual to me that I was not allowed to accompany him back. We waited for an hour past our appointment time to be seen. An hour past that my son came back out and I was told he had 4 cavities, which seemed odd to me. I even looked at his teeth when he came home and there were no brown spots that go along with them, but had no reason to doubt the doctor. When we came back a month later for his fillings, my son was very nervous about getting fillings since he is only 4! They refused to let me come back past the waiting room, and my son got scared and started crying, so we left. I found another dentist by my home that accepted TriCare, and paid to get copies of the x-rays, and took them to the new dentist. The new office allowed me to go back with my son and showed me the xrays as well has had me look at my childs teeth as he poked them with the hook thing. MY CHILD HAD ZERO CAVITIES! The dentist has 28 years of experince here and said several families have come to them from Smile Starters and many children have been told they have problems when they don't so they can make money by charging the insurance company and making parents pay co-pays for the fillings and procedures. I even spoke to a dental hygenist that used to work at smile starters, who said if children cry or are scared they are physically held down and their hands held together so they can't move. Can you imagine how traumatizing?!?!?!? I am soooooo happy I decided to get a second opinion. Trust your gut, it just doesn't seem right to me that a parent is NOT ALLOWED to go into a back room with their toddlers and preschool aged children. I can't believe what these people are getting away with and it makes me sick what they almost did to my 4 year old. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!
