Dr. Clemens is a wonderful doctor and the only gyn I have seen for many years. She takes the time to answer all your questions and makes you feel like you ar her only patient. While her office staff leaves much to be desired, I will continue to put up with them to keep seeing Dr. Clemens

The best doctors visit I have ever had. Very professional and mindful of my time. I was so used to waiting in rooms that I brought my own reading material. Didn't even need it.

Great doctor bad staff. Would not resubmitt a claim with correct codes on them so my visit is covered even when the insurance company spoke with them telling them codes were updated and they still refused to resubmitt. I only go since my visits are to be covered under my insurance. When the dr office refuses to resubmit a claim when you been going to them for years. Guess it is time to find another dr.

I went to my Dr. Clemens last month for my yearly check up. Front desk told me that my yearly checkup was free with my insurance. I saw the doctor, and discussed my health in the last year. I am going through menopause, like I was last year, and we discussed this during my exam. The doctor ordered blood work to verify my condition. About a week later, I received a bill, and to my surprise, I am being charged for two office visits when I was only at her office one time. I am being charged for my yearly checkup and also for discussing my menopause symptoms!!!! I called the insurance company first, and asked how come the doctor charged me for two visits. They said that it was the way the bill was coded, and that this is a common practice. I called the office to discuss this with my doctor; I was informed that the doctor was the only person I could talk to, because she is the one that enter the codes for the billing department. I left several messages for the doctor to call me back. I don’t understand how she can charge for two visits, when I was only there once. Finally the billing dept called me back and told me that the doctor will not return calls about billing issues. I then received a certified letter in the mail, saying that the doctor has decided to terminate our physician-patient relationship.
My questions are —How can a doctor charge you for two visits if you are only there once? How can this be a common practice? When you go to the doctor for a yearly checkup, aren’t you supposed to talk about what has happened over the past year?
I am just a working woman who relies on my insurance to pay for my yearly exam. How can an insurance company be billed twice for the same visit?

I wasn't greeted at all when I entered their office. I could tell they noticed I walked in, but they still didn't acknowledge me. Every time I come here I feel so unwelcome as soon as I enter the door. They can never seem to remember my name when I first arrive and always forget it throughout my appointment. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. It messed up my entire day. Whenever I've visited their office, it's always smelled really bad. They really need to clean or sterilize the office more. Getting a convenient appointment time with them is almost impossible. They have really weird availability and I always have a hard time making an appointment.
