I am sad to write a poor review for Dr. Singiser and his staff because his initial consutation was great. He spent as much time as I needed with him, answered all of my many questions and took x-rays too. He seemed very friendly and competent. I was surprised at his $3,177.00 quote for a tooth extraction and implant on my upper front left lateral incisor plus a "hidden" (meaning they told me nothing about this charge while in the office until I got two bills in the mail for it one day apart) $123.00 consultation fee. So, I received a second opinion from Dr. David K. Walton in Fort Collins Colorado and received a free consultation and a $2,575.00 quote to do the exact same work. If you have too much money, you might not mind paying the extra 700+ dollars to for Dr. Singiser's surgery but look to Dr. David k Walton if you want someone who will use the same care and competency and charge a lot less. I was disappointed with the way Donna, in the front office, treated me in saying that they could do nothing to waive (or reduce) the $123.00 fee and could not believe that they would not help me out. They did agree to lower the fee by 5% if I paid by check but I am furious about this charge. When I asked them if they could help make a customer happy, they didn't and therefore, I did not choose them for my surgical needs. Beware of high costs at Peak to Peak Periodontics.

They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. Although I was hoping to be able to watch my favorite show during my dental procedure, they had plenty of magazines for me to look through. My procedure flew by because I had something to distract me the entire time. They are enjoyable people to visit with.

Here are my opinions of Dr Singiser as a conscientious patient. My dentist referred me to Singiser. I have great insurance but Singiser exceeded reasonable and customary for every procedure. My dentist was shocked at how much Singiser was charging and said another patient complained about being referred to Singiser for high fees in the same week!

My dentist referred me to another Periodontist with whom I am very happy. Singiser’s charges were DOUBLE that of the the other Periodontist. My second opinion preauthorization was about $3000. Singiser’s preauthorization was about $6000. The procedures were similar.

The fees I complained about were for an initial perio exam and would have been paid by my insurance company at $100%, however, there was a footnote that Singiser’s fees exceeded reasonable and customary fees ($90) by $45.50. That is 1.5 times higher than reasonable and customary!

I asked Singiser to adjust his charges; he said no. He sent a bill telling me he would send it to collection if not paid immediately. I paid $10 of the remaining $45 charges with a note that I was protesting his high fees. Today I received a letter from a collection agency even though I made a payment! I have very good credit.

It’s up to you, but if you decide to go to Dr. Singiser, I’m simply giving you a heads up to ask his fees first. If they seem high to you, let your referring dentist know and get a second opinion. You may find the same thing I found. I’m lucky that I stopped it all at the initial perio exam. I have more important things to do with $3000 in these tough times.
